Amy Farley Automatic Improv

Amy Farley has lived in turn in Georgia, Florida, Texas, and then Georgia again, getting a decent start in Southern States Bingo. She attended the University of Georgia (go Dawgs!) where she majored in Magazine Journalism and minored in Film Studies.

Amy began taking Automatic Improv classes in October of 2011, after realizing that just livin’ the dream isn’t always creatively fulfilling. Right away, she knew she was in the right place. She has also taken classes at Dad’s Garage, as well as a number of other improv workshops here and there.

When Amy isn’t on stage with Automatic Improv, she’s often hanging out with, writing sketches with, shooting sketches with or generally gallivanting about town with the rest of the Automatic Improv crew.

When she’s not doing that, she’s probably obsessively marathoning TV shows, playing kickball at Piedmont Park, making a living in digital marketing or trying to figure out how to fulfill her lifelong dream of writing comedy for television in spite of the fact that doing what you love is hard work.
